My name is Yasen (also known as Pulni on the internet), and I'm a code artist! Okay, I'll clarify what I mean by that :P
I am a programmer (been doing that for quite some time)
Code can be an art, and to me it often is
My code is art (especially when working on projects I'm passionate about)
I love game design and perhaps design in general. I've been working on games for a while, but lately I participated in a few projects that were more focused on the visual art side, and I loved that! There's something about expressing ideas or expressing oneself in creative ways, without any secondary goals, that makes it really special to me!
About the blog
Every now and then, as I write some code, or think of something cool design-wise, I feel that it might be interesting for others to read about. On one hand I just wanna share such stories simply because they're about the stuff I love, but also, I do hope that they could be useful to others - to give them ideas how to solve things, inspire them to experiment with stuff or something. :)
So, I'll be writing about game dev, game design, custom tools, and hopefully some artsy or otherwise creative things every now and then!
In the past I've had several ideas for such posts, but I was too busy (or lazy :D ) to set up a blog, and so I just postponed it indefinitely. Am really happy that I finally found some time to set it up, so the next time I have some ideas for a post, I can instantly open the blog and start writing!
Hopefully I'll have at least one cool thing per month to write about, but we'll see. Work kinda takes a lot of time and energy, and some weekends I just wanna be lazy and do nothing! :D
